At the Merced Church of Christ, we believe the Bible is God's inspired Word and the foundation for our faith and daily lives. Studying Scripture helps us know God more deeply, strengthens our faith, and teaches us how to live according to His will. Whether you're opening the Bible for the very first time or have spent a lifetime studying it, we invite you to learn and grow with us.

Sunday Morning Bible Classes
Every Sunday at 9:30 AM, before our worship service, we offer Bible classes for children, teens, and adults. These classes provide an opportunity to study God's Word in a welcoming and encouraging environment. Each class is designed to help participants better understand the Scriptures and apply biblical principles to everyday life. Visitors are always welcome, and there is never any expectation that you already know the Bible.
Personal Bible Study
While studying together is important, we also encourage every Christian to spend time reading and studying God's Word personally. Developing a regular habit of Bible study strengthens faith, provides wisdom for daily living, and helps us grow closer to God. If you're unsure where to begin, we'd be happy to help you get started and answer any questions you may have.

Men's & Women's Bible Studies
Throughout the week, our Men's and Women's Bible Studies provide additional opportunities to grow spiritually while building meaningful friendships. These smaller group settings encourage thoughtful discussion, mutual encouragement, and practical application of God's Word. Whether you're new to Bible study or have participated for many years, you'll find an atmosphere where questions are welcomed and everyone can continue learning together.

Personal Bible Studies
If you would like to learn more about the Bible or have questions about Christianity, we'd be honored to study with you personally. Members of our congregation regularly meet with individuals and families for one-on-one or small group Bible studies, providing an opportunity to explore God's Word in a relaxed, conversational setting. There is never any pressure, just an open invitation to learn what the Bible teaches.
